Viña Leyda sobresale con excelentes puntajes en último reporte 2019 de James Suckling
Se dieron a conocer los resultados del último reporte de James Suckling, el cual bajo el nombre de “El Cuento de dos ciudades de Chile”, le otorgó excelentes puntajes a los vinos de Leyda – viña pionera en el valle que lleva el mismo nombre.
En su última visita a Chile, el reconocido crítico estadounidense James Suckling, degustó un total de 1.200 vinos elaborados a lo largo del país, desde la costa hasta la cordillera. En esta ocasión el coeditor, Jack Suckling, hijo del crítico describió en el reporte que actualmente Chile “se está incorporando a los rankings de los mejores del mundo, con Cabernet Sauvignon equilibrados y estructurados, y Syrah y Pinot Noir sutiles pero llenos de sabor”.
En esta oportunidad, el experto le otorgó 93 puntos a Leyda Lot 21 Pinot Noir 2017, el cual lo describió como sigue a continuación:
“Otro fragante Pinot Noir chileno, con mucha estructura y notas a raíces, y a unas maravillosas cerezas ácidas. Acaba de alcanzar el punto perfecto, pero posee la tensión y la vitalidad para seguir envejeciendo. Acabado largo y complejo”.
Así mismo, Leyda Single Vineyard Las Brisas Pinot Noir 2017 sobresalió con 92 puntos siendo descrito como un vino que en “nariz es sorprendente con aromas a frambuesas, cerezas y hierbas secas. Elegante pero bien estructurado al paladar y un acabado largo y complejo con cierta frescura mineral”.
Finalmente, Leyda Reserva Pinot Noir 2018 fue puntuado con 91 puntos y evaluado con la siguiente nota de cata:
“Fragrante, con un montón de aromas a flores y cerezas ácidas, este Pinot Noir es realmente delicioso, con buena profundidad, taninos modestos y un acabado fresco y largo”.
Excelentes puntajes para los vinos de Viña Leyda, que muestran la frescura, mineralidad y vibrancia de uno de los viñedos más próximos al Océano Pacífico.
