Os resultados de uma das competições internaciones mais prestigiadas e renomadas da indústria foram divulgados em Londres: o Decanter World Wine Awards (DWWA). Nessa ocasião, um painel abrangente de especialistas premiou com medalha de prata e 90 pontos o Leyda Reserva Syrah 2017.
Para a décima sexta versão do DWWA, um júri multinacional, composto por 280 especialistas do mundo do vinho, avaliou mais de 16.500 vinhos de 57 países ao redor do mundo.
Nessa oportunidade, Viña Leyda - pioneira no vale com o mesmo nome - destacou-se entre inúmeros concorrentes com sua variedade tinta: Leyda Reserva Syrah 2017, que recebeu 90 pontos e a medalha de prata.
O painel de especialistas descreveu como "perfumado com pimenta do reino, charuto, canela e especiarias, seguido de frutas polidas, carvalho macio e taninos elegantes".
