Leyda Single Vineyard Neblina Riesling 2018 entre los mejores Riesling de Sudamérica en Decanter
El reconocido periodista Patricio Tapia – responsable de catar vinos chilenos para Decanter – destacó en la edición de enero 2019 de la revista a Leyda Single Vineyard Neblina Riesling 2018 como uno de los mejores Riesling de Sudamérica.
Si de vinos refrescantes se trata, la cepa Riesling ha ido encantando poco a poco a los amantes del vino, una variedad que si bien no presenta un gran volumen, ha logrado convertirse en un gran compañero de aventuras para los viticultores de la zona.
En esta oportunidad el experto en vinos, destacó como uno de los Mejores 12 Riesling del Cono Sur a Leyda Single Vineyard Neblina Riesling 2018, vino perteneciente al elegante portafolio de Viña Leyda – pionera en el valle que lleva el mismo nombre y especializada en la elaboración de vinos de clima frío costero.
A su vez, obtuvo 91 puntos y fue descrito por Tapia con la siguiente nota de cata:
“Los viñedos de riesling en Leyda están plantados hacia el occidente, es decir, miran directamente al mar, y eso se siente en la acidez deliciosa y los sabores salinos de este blanco. Tiene una textura nerviosa, decorada con notas minerales y toques a frutas blancas. Y el final es deliciosamente herbal”.
