VINTAGE SELECTION
Maipo Valley

Vintage Selection stands for a careful selection of the best lots of red wines produced each year and the most complex and complete blend that can be made combining them.
The components come from vineyards of Cabernet Sauvignon, that is the base of depth and character, Carmenere, that gives spices notes and freshness, Cabernet Franc adding structure and elegance and Syrah that adds complexity to the blend.

The vineyards are located in the most important valleys for red wine in Chile; Maipo and Colchagua.

Cabernet Sauvignon comes from a sixty-year-old vineyard managed with low yield and a very strict irrigation program. Cabernet Franc, Carmenere and Syrah come from a hilly vineyard in the heart of Colchagua Valley.

The different lots are gently fermented and aged in new French oak barrels for 14 months. They are kept separately until the final blend, just before bottling.

Vintage Selection is elegant and complex on the nose. Ripe and fresh aromas of red and black fruit like raspberries, cassis and black cherries join together with subtle hints of oak , menthol and a slightly wet forest note . In the palate is wide and opulent. Ripe and velvety tannins travel all through the palate, holding the weight of the intense and fresh fruity flavours and leaving a long and delicate aftertaste.
