4º Annual Wines of Chile Awards

Once more, Viña Leyda's consistency in great quality wines has been awarded.

The 4rd Annual Wines of Chile Awards took place in Santiago in January 2007. Once again, a top line-up of experienced Judges from the UK awarded a Gold Medal to Single Vineyard Garuma Sauvignon Blanc 2006

The judges included three Masters of Wine (Tim Atkin, Rose Murray Brown, and Peter McCombie), some leading wine writers, authors, and communicators (Christine Austin, Simon Woods, and Joe Wadsack), a buyer from one of the UK's most influential independent wine merchants - Andrew Willy from Selfridges, and finally two important representatives from London's exciting restaurant scene - Martin Lam from Ransome's Dock, and Christine Parkinson, the wine buyer for the Hakkasan Group of restaurants.
