RESERVA SYRAH
Colchagua Valley
Classic Reserve Syrah comes from a single vineyard located in the
upper part of Colchagua Valley.
Vines are planted uphill which creates great exposure to sunlight
and optimum temperatures for ripening. Low yields and a dense canopy
are managed in this vineyard in order to obtain concentration and
a fresh and spicy character in the grapes.
After a gentle fermentation, the wine is left over lees and skins
for an additional 5 days. Then, the wine is aged for 8 months in French
oak barrels. New oak is not used in this wine in order to keep the
fruitiness of it.
Classic Reserve Syrah has a complex nose with blackberries, green
pepper, leather and a toasty note. On the palate is well structured
and soft, with a pleasant oaky finish.
